This little Town Will Come Alive!
Nolensville Restoration  Project
The historic district of Nolensville Tennessee is lined with some real great buildings. Buildings with wonderful history and character. We're getting real close to having the sewer. Once the sewers in, we can revitalize the quaintness of our town. I  know first hand that people love the old historic district because I own the Old Nolensville Feed Mill and Creamery Building. I speak with People daily coming in to shop for Antiques and Candy. Locals are coming in from the new subdivisions, Lennox Village as well as old-timers from Nolensville. We also get a lot of Vacationers stopping by, not to mention the normal drive-by traffic. I talk with People daily who say they want a nice place to eat in the village. Something quaint!
My goal the whole time I've been here was to put a bakery/eatery in one of my buildings. I have hopes to one day incorporate food into the mix down here.

All we need is sewer! Here's where we're at as of 04/28/08
We have a few People that have the money to pitch in and make this happen. We also have People that aren't in a position to spend money at this point. I can say, with or without funds, we all share on thing in common, we love our historic district and need to save it. Our Projected costs For the sewer are between 325,000 and 400,000 Dollars to get the project completed. we have 31 property owners in the historic district that will be in the scope of this project. The most important thing right now is that we get across Mill Creek. Mill Creek is the biggest obstacle in the process. We have an approval from Metro Sewer and water to Cross Mill Creek. However, we still need a permit from state. State will only allow crossings of mill creek between May and September of any given year. The state would like to preserve the Mill Creek Crawdad. We do have a great Group of People trying to finish up getting the permit from state right now.

We need Help!
We have a great group formed called "The Historic Nolensville Sewer Association" The Association is made up of local property owners within the Historic district and overlay. The mayor Beth Lothers is also helping out with as much as she can. We appreciate everyone's involvement From the Town of Nolensville, The local Residents, The local home and business owners and everyone who has a heart for our town/Historic district.

How can you help?.
Of course we need funds. If you'd like to make a donation/contribution, please feel free to drop off a check or money order to the Nolensville Feed Mill at 7280 Nolensville Rd. We need all payments made out to Historic Nolensville Sewer Association. Any contributions, small or large are greatly appreciated. It all helps the cause! All funds will be turned into the Association
